PACC Art Exhibition 2024

PACC presents their annual art exhibition, a celebration of works created by members and tutors.

A wide range of art and craft works will be on display, including paintings, prints, pottery, glass, sculpture, jewellery, woodwork, basketmaking, spinning and weaving.

Awards

The Duchess of Hamilton Award for the most outstanding exhibit in the painting/drawing and printing section was awarded to Alex McGuigan for ‘New Arrivals Findhorn 2023’. The Granary Bowl for the best exhibit in the craft section was awarded to Laura Abbott for ‘Feather and Horsehair’. The Poldrate Plaque for best work in the textile and basketmaking section was awarded to Joan Johnson for ‘I should have been three tea towels’. The Ken Maskell Award for the most original piece of work in the exhibition was awarded to ‘Excavation’ by Johnny Walker. A new award this year, the Alastair Fiddes Watt prize for the best use of colour was awarded to Bruce Lumsden for ‘Krka HR’
