Friends of the Lamp

Supporting all forms of active healthy lifestyle which provide positivity in people’s lives

Enabling the community to thrive

Become a Friend

The Lamp of Lothian Trust depends on the generosity of Trusts and individuals to continue its work for the whole community. Our Friends Scheme provides vital additional annual revenue, helping with our running costs and, most importantly, to continue offering subsidised facilities for our user groups and organisations.

When you make an annual subscription to become a Friend of the Lamp, not only will you help empower our community, but you can join us at our social gatherings. We have an annual drinks party in September to which all Friends are invited. We also have occasional lunches at the Lamp for our supporters who want to see more of what we do.

Help us provide facilities and space to enable all our user groups and new users to thrive in our community.

What You're Saying

When we were looking for a new home for our talking newspaper, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we were so grateful to the Lamp of Lothian, who offered us the use of a space in the Poldrate Granary, free of charge. We are able to record, copy and distribute our weekly news from there and also hold meetings by arrangement. Thank you, Lamp of Lothian!
