Lamp of Lothian has hosted The Haddington Bridge Centre for over six decades, providing a much needed educational facility for all to use. This allows us to offer a wide range of activities including the Motorcycle Project, music, exercise, dance, adult learning, children's' activities, youth clubs and U3A to name a few. We look forward to continuing this great relationship long into the future.

The wonderful buildings made available to us by the Lamp enable us to provide classes and self-help groups in a wide range of arts and crafts subjects in a way which enables our members to develop at their own pace and provides greatly valued social interaction as well as learning. Without the Lamp's support PACC would struggle to recreate the unique atmosphere of the classes in these historic buildings which provide inspiration for many of our members.

When we were looking for a new home for our talking newspaper, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we were so grateful to the Lamp of Lothian, who offered us the use of a space in the Poldrate Granary, free of charge. We are able to record, copy and distribute our weekly news from there and also hold meetings by arrangement. Thank you, Lamp of Lothian!

Attending classes run by PACC, at the Lamp of Lothian, provides wonderful opportunities, in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Wood is a sensual material, and working with it brings you closer to nature. Often starting from scratch, students can make remarkably rapid progress.

I’d like to thank the Lamp of Lothian for the opportunity to be part of the lovely Haddington Community Choir, and the honour of singing in St Mary’s Church. The whole process was really well organised.

The Motorcycle Project is fantastic, I would recommend it to anyone and will come back. (Feedback on a 2-1 programme provided to students from Meadowpark School by the Bridge Motorcycle Project).

The Bridge Centre was the perfect space for our Haddstock rehearsals, and your support was greatly appreciated. Many thanks again for being so accommodating.
