"Enabling creative endeavour for the whole community in East Lothian"
The Lamp of Lothian Trust restored and still maintains a group of listed buildings at the south end of Haddington which it makes available to the community at little or no cost for the widest variety of cultural, artistic and social uses. Over 1,000 people of all ages use the Lamp's buildings at Poldrate every week, principally through classes and workshops run by The Bridge Centre and Poldrate Arts & Crafts Centre.

The other main area of activity for the Lamp is The Lammermuir Festival which now runs annually in mid-September and uses a wide variety of venues throughout East Lothian: Beautiful Music | Beautiful Places.
Over thirty groups make use of our buildings under the auspices of the Bridge Centre, ranging from 'Mums and Tums', ballet, youth drop in, yoga and keep fit, to Warhammer , U3A, and quilting. For full details of the Bridge Centre programme, contact 01620 823 137.
